sony vaio k17 vs k27

Hi i found what seems to be a good deal on a k27? but im not sure if its a k17 or a k27...and what is the difference? i think the k17 weighs more but i dont know if thats the only change...anyways this laptop is for $940

k27?
80gb hard drive
512mb ram (max ram-1gb...if that matters on finding out the model?)
3.06ghz p4
windows xp home
dvd/cdrw
memory stick slot
wxga xbrite 15.4in screen

it also comes with a bunch of extras (carrying case/bag, logitech mouse, targus ac power adapters, ubs port replicator thing, sennheiser in ear phones, and a computer cable lock)

basically the point of this thread is, is this computer a k27 or a k17? and what are the differences between the two.

that computer is indeed the k27

The main difference between the k13/15/17 and the k23/25/27 is that the k23/25/27 is widescreen 15.4" whereass the k13/15/17 is a standard 4:3 aspect 15" screen

I forget iof the k17 was a 3.06 proc, and all but I am pretty sure it was.

Again k27 for sure tho caus of the 15.4in screen
