Clock not keeping correct time

Thread Starter
My 8790 has recently developed an odd quirk. Every time I turn it off, the clock jumps an hour ahead. Its done it three times so far, and I really don't have a clue as to why. I don't think its the internal battery, as the minutes never change, only it jumps one hour ahead. I don't think its anything to worry about, but it is a little annoying. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appriciate the help.

thinking out loud....

Time zone set correctly? Check control panel > date and time > time zone tab.

Is it set to automatically adjust for daylight savings time, and by chance do you live in a place that does not observer daylight savings time (part of Indiana, Arizonia, Hawaii ???)

Perhaps your time service is crapped up or connecting to a time server that is malfunctioning? Try disabling it and rebooting...does it recur? (to disable, right click MY COMPUTER, choose MANAGEMENT, choose SERVICES, scroll down to WINDOWS TIME, double click and disable.
