Cable Modem help

Thread Starter
I have a question about a cable modem. I have a Terayon TJ715t cable modem, and it sometimes reboots and loses connection. I dont know if its my Cable ISP (Cox Communications in Phoenix, AZ), it's a poor modem or both. Can anyone here recommend me a good cable modem that is rock stable? Thanks!

I dont know it sounds like it might be the isp's fault you could complain to them and see if they can fix the problem.

i had a similar problem, play with the power cable on the back and see if it loses power while you're moving it around, turned out my modem had a loose connection in the power supply

Try upgrading the firmware.

I don't have a Teryon, however I do have a RCA Cable Model.

I randomly loose connection and the modem resets sometimes, and it always disconnects when I touch the black power cord. It's a power supply problem like Compujas stated. I would phone your ISP and new power supply and cord.
