What I did for a 12 inch Sentia Case

I don't know about you, but I had some trouble finding a good, small case for my 12 inch Sentia. I really just wanted something padded to go around it and protect it, something I could throw in my backpack and take around with me at college. Well what I did works out really well. I bought a CaseLogic cd holder (128 version) for about 20 bucks, and just took out the insert sheets and it has left me with an attractive, padded, compact storage case for my computer. It has a nice handle on it, and its best feature is the 16 cd slots built into the side. I also think this product may be good because it just looks like a cd holder and not a laptop case, which may thwart would-be thieves who are looking for a laptop case. Well, that's what I did and I'm happy with the results, good luck.

Yeah, but I leave for college tomorrow, so I'll try to do it Saturday or Sunday. I don't know how to post a picture though--like who hosts it. http://www.casedirect.com/product_de...BLACK&menu=02# is the product online, the cd sleeves are really easy to take out.

This is a really good idea. I dont know about thwarting any notebook thieves because this would really surprise the h*ll out of a CD thief. still, a great idea.

Wilsons Leather Kenneth Cole Vertical Briefcase

I have a white box Sentia 12" (Uniwill N223ii0) which I selected precisely because it was the highest resolution laptop that fit into my existing case.

Wilsons Leather sells a Kenneth Cole vertical briefcase which is professional and intelligently designed. It is a perfect, snug fit for the N223 and can carry a spare battery, mini-usb hub, mouse, retractable cables etc. as well as an 8.5x11 folder and paperback in a compact euro-vertical configuration.

What I find most useful about it is I can carry it around by itself 80% of the time between work and home, but when I fly it slips in vertically into my rollaway briefcase with room for the power supply and headphones in the main compartment. Since it is vertical, I can leave it unzipped so sliding the laptop out for the x-ray machine is a breeze. Then when I am on board I slide out the little case for the underseat storage and can store the rollaway and my regular carryon in the overhead -- I have defeated the two carryon rule and left room for my feet while maintaining access to my laptop.

Don't hold that handle and carry it with your lappy, if that damn zipper falls apart, so will your lappy.

heh heh...mostly guys here...but the second case looks nice. i can't say too much for the first one though. go with what you like...

Hey i used the idea for cutting the cd holders out of the cd case and it works great.. I wanted it so it would go into my back pack for school, when i bring my lappy to school i dont want to have to carry around another thing besides my backpack and this makes it so its protected inside of my backpack...Great idea!!!!!!

Not sure what you mean by that. It's not much more than a square with some pockets, the first and the second link are exactly the same bag only the first link is kinda textured PVC material. Gunmetal is not exactly a color that I would call "girly," can you explain to me what is so feminine about the case?

Here is what I saw as girly: http://www.wabags.com/products/bags/details.asp?id=75

But then I guess I'm just a dumb chick :-0

if you look in This Thread we have a bunch of solutions for a dell 700m case/sleeve which should work for the sentia, since they have similar dimensions.

I hope this helps.

I'm looking for something that fits tight like a sleeve, but you don't have to keep sliding the laptop out of it.

Thanks for the link! ;-)

Since I'm a woman, I *don't care* if it looks girly. I'm sorry, you boys, you're not the only sex out there looking for laptops, or buying Sentias.

I use the AW premium backpack to carry my Sentia around. I love the backpack, and it protects the lappy really well and has lots of padding.

Would you mind doing some testing on the backpack's protective abilities? Perhaps you could drop the backpack with the Sentia inside from increasingly higher elevations until finally the Sentia breaks. Then we would know just how protective it really is.

Include lots of pics of course.
