I have a brand new 512mb stick of PC2700 DDR333 RAM that I bought from a local computer shop. I bought it, since I was planning on getting a laptop with 256mb RAM or less (since manufacturers charge way too much to upgrade to 512mb) and just upgrade it myself with this. However, I found a deal on a HP/Compaq NC6000 Centrino laptop from a member of the anandtech forums that I just could not pass up. As you guessed, it already comes with 512mb RAM standard, and I really have no need for more than 512mb. The sticker on this RAM says its from Micron. I am asking $70 shipped for this.
