Hello all.
Can anyone tell me what 3D mark i should expect from my 51m, specs are,
3.2 p4 / 1gig ram / 7200 hd / ati 9600 with 8.05 driver.I have just run 3d mark 03 and scored 2637 3d marks.Also when running tests at pc pitstop i get a low 2d score of 59 mps.So whats up do i need a new card or is somthing set wrong.Any help much appreciated.

To be honest thats pretty much what I get in 2003 as well (ive got identical specs as you) although with tweaks and the latest omegas i got up to 3100. Not much else you can do tbh, although how are things running in games? On the stress test for CS:Source i come in with a very respectable 55fps at 1024x768, if things are running fine then there's no need to worry about benchmarks

Thanks for the reply. The thing that made me think things were not right was the pc pitstop 2d tests. My score of 59 mps was very low the average for my spec computer was around 160 mps.Any ideas on this one?

does pcpistop defferintiate between laptops and desktops in the test? If not that might be why you don't match up with other computers of the same spec, a desktop will beat a laptop every time

Have a look at this reply i got yesterday.

I know the specs are not the same but would having the 9700 as opposed to my 9600 make such a difference.

spyware can cause this too
