double clicking on my pad

hey guys,
just got my 6811, its killer, but I have a small problem. For some reason I cannot click or double click using my pad, I have to use the two buttons located below the pad. Is there anyway i can use my pad instead of the silly buttons?

You should be able to change the option in your control panel. So either go to control panel>mouse then somewhere you should enable double clicking.
Or next to your taskbar there should be an icon that changes color when you move the mouse. Goto it's properties and see if you can change anything to enable double clicking.

go to the Device Settings in the mouse control panel, brings up the Synaptics touchpad properties (the icon in the taskbar does as well). Theres an option in there, though I don't remember what it's exactly called at the moment.
