Hi xbertmx!
You can do this by entering to the BIOS.
On the Power Section you have 4 Items.
Put on "Disable" the last 2 of them(High Performance Mode and Long Battery life Mode).

When your power button is blinking is beacuse of 2 posible reasons:
1. You have connected your beautiful sentia laptop to the AC power and you have Enabled the High Performace Mode in the Power Section at the BIOS.

2. Your pretty amaizing laptop is working whit batttery power and you have Enabled the Long Battery life Mode in the Power Section at the BIOS.

By default both of them (High Performance Mode and Long Battery life Mode) are set to "Enable" .

Thats all.
Enjoy your new sentia. Its amaizing .. isnt it?

Regards

Yes. Playing with this values at the BIOS afects your battery life and yout performance. So you have to know what your dooing when changing this values.
Anyway.. that blinking light its not very confortable. Maybe AW shoul do that mechanis in the opossed way.
About the AW Eyes at the BIOS.. still dont know where to shut them down... i remember that once i read about that in the AW Website.. they said that you can activate or deactivate the AW Eyes... maybe an special combination on the Power Settings at the BIOS ( just guessing).... if you find out how.. please let me know.

But the Eyes look very cool .. they really catch the peoples“s attention.. =).

thank you v
i like the eyes because they attract attention but they take about 15 minuted to turn off when i have the screen set to 1 minute to turn off
and so i close the lid when i sleep because of the flashing power button and the eyes remain on
i do not want to lessen the processing power or battery life so i cannot disable the flashing i guess
i did not find in the bios how to turn off the eyes though which is weird
