Format/Reinstall question

I have the 5680. The only thing not working right on it is the internet throught the wireless lan.

I tried everything, I updated the router firmware, flashed it to reset its settings, still not working either wired or wireless on the net, but does connect to the router alright. Using static ip.

Uninstalled the wireless internal card and reinstalled the driver that came with the computer, still not connecting to any net apps. is the wlan_xp driver on sagers archive a good driver? I thought I had more problems when I installed that, but now i have the old driver and still not working.

Help please.

Sager shipped multiple versions of wireless cards with their laptops, I'm not sure why they did, but that's why you got a floppy disk with wireless drivers on it. This being said, check to see if the driver on your disk matches the one on the internet, id est, it's from the same card manufacturer. Also, try connecting at a friends place and see if it will pick up a signal.
