IRDA and my 9100!

Hey guys, my i9100 I ordered, and my phone both have IRDA ports!(which i just noticed). So anyway, I looked on-line and can't seem to find anything on this, so if anyone could hook me up with a link or some sort of software somewhere that makes syncing my new 9100 and my phone up to do stuff, that would be great!

What is your phone?

I have a Nokia 7210 and it works great with my I9100.

I think all phones that you can sync/hook up to computers have software that you have to install first. Make sure you have your phone's software installed.

Dont forget to activate your IR in the BIOS setup also.

Hi there,

I'm trying to have IRDA working on my 9100, and I can't find correct kernel options so my Slackware 10.0 can detect it. Can you give me more information on how you had it working ?
