Hey.. I really feel for you man. I'm going to write DL another email asking about the shipment right now. I'm really losing my patience, and although I know it's the typhoon's fault, I do wish DL would inform me about the status.
You can see my last email conversation with DL just a couple of posts above this one, and he said he's gonna ask his rep Monday and tell me what's up. Well, it's 2:18PM right now and I still don't have an update on that. Of course the people at DL have tons of work right now and I'm sure they're trying hard to satisfy all of their customers at once.. but if he says he'll tell me Monday, I would expect to have received the answer by now. Maybe I'm just being a whore because I'm seriously running out of patience.. been waiting for my lappy since August 24th, I'm in my second week of school already, note-taking is a pain, plus everything around the university is based on the internet.. course information, powerpoint slides from lectures are up on the course websites, club information, schedules, the main way of communication here is by email, in fact the teachers strongly discourage students to use the phone, which I don't like to do in the first place, yaddayaddayadda... I'm not blaming DL or Sager for anything, but I certainly would appreciate more updates. I haven't heard from DL in over a week, even though by now the Sager shipment must have arrived and they must be working on shipping the lappies out. I would have expected updates on all these events from DL
I'll write them right now and see what's up and post the breaking news right here in this thread. I'm so sick and tired of having to use my room mate's laptops all the time... for one, I can't use my IMAP email the way I want to, instead I have to entirely depend on GMAIL for all my email business, which is a huge pain because of the lack of more sophisticated features like draft-saving, more efficient message archiving, the ability to have messages at my fingertips rather than having to navigate to GMail's website and log in every time... and so on and so on.
Just about 2 hours ago I was writing an email to one of my professors, quite excitedly, and installed the SPELLBOUND extension for FireFox, which, like all other extensions, requires you to restart the browser in order to function, and I killed the email I was working on. I actually installed the extension because I wanted to use it to check my email for spelling errors and look up some words, and ended up sending the email to hell instead of to the teacher. Of course, it was my own dumb fault, but the point is that it wouldn't have happened had I used an email client
Argh.. you can tell I'm frustrated. Plus, it's so hot and humid outside that I'm dying everytime I head out to class.. instead of staying and talking to the incredible amounts of hot chicks out there, I always feel the urge to rush to the dorm immediately after class simply because I feel disgustingly sticky, sweaty, uncomfortable in the high and humid temperatures.

"Hey there Matt,
I don't want to be annoying, but I'm really not feeling very comfortable being left without any updates on the shipping situation, when my shipping status at the DL website actually changed for me this past Thursday or Friday. It still says shipping date 9/10 on there, and while I understand that this date is very likely to be incorrect, I am still left wondering as to what is really going on with my shipping status now. To put it bluntly, what good is an order status page on the DL website, accessible with my customer login and password, if the "order status" is telling me absolutely nothing about the real... well, order status?
I understand that you guys are probably working at the peak of your capacity right now to get all the long standing and long waiting orders shipped out and I know that you told me that you'd get back to me on the issue today, but I couldn't bare waiting anymore, and decided to place another inquiry on the matter.
I don't aim to upset you with too many questions, but you certainly understand that the tension among us customers is about as intense as at Sager or DL.
