lol According to Matt, my laptop is being delayed because of the 12 cell. He also states that Sager was expecting a shipment today(Tuesday). That means I can hope that they will ship my laptop sometime THIS week.

I can certainly hope right?

Does ANYONE ELSE placed an order identical to mine(in sig)? Placed the order when, shipped or not shipped?

i was told that all the backorders caused by the 12 cell shortage would hopefully ship by the end of the day tomorrow (wednesday the 15th).

Identical except for the battery, I got the 6 cell.
Ordered on 8/31
Shipped on 9/10
Will receive 9/15 (today)

meh... i've seen varying detail in different shipments such as one that had 5 stops... and another going through the exact same path, but only got scanned twice before arriving at my door

Probably just means that it got loaded on the truck. If you notice a little higher up it was listed Out for Delivery around 5 am for someone else.

Here is where all that useful UPS knowledge comes in handy. When a package arrives in a destination facility it receives its final logical scan(not scanned by a human). When a truck arrives from a destination facility it is checked on property and is then "arrived" in TFCS, this gives you package its last two logical scan "arrival" and "out for delivery", so all you know is that you package has arrived in the UPS facility. You will not get another physical scan until "delivery". This is why you have many different times for an out for delivery scan.... and now you know, the rest of the story

YESSSS!!!!! I just received an email from DL's warehouse department! They said they will ship my laptop tomorow!!!!!!!! TOMOROW!!!!!!!!! In 4-5 business days, they will have it to me!!!!!!!!! YESSSSS!!!

NOTE: I was mistaken before. My laptop isn't making a trip around the country. It's only going to NV then back to me!!! Not going to Florida!!! It'll make a trip to Las Vegas, then back to me in San Diego!!! That's REALLY close!!!

On with my "Dead-Pixel-Begone!" ritual!!! Join in!!! so happy now!
