my first post ever, and its already in the review section lol.
Well i fell in love with this forum the first time i visited. The people are nice, the reviews even nicer, and best of all, theres advice that isnt backed by a company breathing down anothers back, bribing them to write a half-decent review of their sh*tty product.
Right now tho, i place this thread in reviews because im at the VERY brink of buying a lappy.
My sight is on the Asus M6BNE, and since im in Canada, the only choice is Canadasys. Right now, they have a nice deal going. I got a quote of 2400CAD even for 1.7Dothan/1024MB/60G5k4/9700/DVDRW (the burner being the promotion)/4yearParts/1yearLabor (or the other way around, forget

I still dunno if i should take it; my main concern is the measly 64megs of GPU ram. If it had 128 i'd have bought it, promotion or not.
Depending on the feedback that i receive in this thread, i will either get it or not.
Seeing as how im going to University, the 5.5 hours of life is great, but i still wanna be able to play HL2 (already finished D3 long ago...sorry it blew horribly, fancy shadows aside) and the onslaught of games that are about to come. The rest of the specs are great, and reviews have been top-notch.
So...any feedback at all would be appreciated.
Also if you guys know anywhere that sells cl56 in canada (Tigerdirect aside) or anything of the sort (with 9700 128mb), praytell.
