[quote= the future is to get the least expensive drive and put one in yourself.
Side note: I think my 700m is going back haven't made up my mind completely, do I have 21days from order date or ship date or date I recieved the item? I think it is ship but would like to check. Thanks all.

You have 21 days (14 days if it's a refurbished system) from the date of the invoice! NOT from the date that you actually received the laptop in your possession. So from the date the laptop leaves the factory, thats when Dell starts counting and good luck to anyone who's trying to return anything to Dell beyond these specified days. Dell will refuse it and give you alot of headache. So make up your mind, the sooner the better. Don't wait!

I also thought my 700m was going to have the 7200 drive, I called dell and they said they only over the 700m with the 60GB 5400 drive. Thats the only negative experience I have had with dell so far. Still waiting for my 700m, it just shipped yesterday!

Yep, the 700M doesn't have the 7200 rpm drive. I'm ok with that. My total came down to 1143 + 180 (from newegg) = 1300 approximately. Still not bad.
