Touchpad/pointer buttons having a mind of their own

Hello all

Just got my i9100 and I love it! There is only one slight problem I am having.

Every now and then, it seems as though the left mouse button gets "pushed". I can tell because at the desktop, or any other program, moving the mouse i get that click n drag selection box or it will just do whatever left click action the mouse is over. I am certain that I did not accendently touch it and it is always only the left button actions.

I have tried disabling one set of buttons (touchpad/point stick visa versa) but it seems to be doing the same thing for both sets.

Any idea what could cause this?

What CD are the pointer drivers on? maybe I should reinstall drivers?

Thanks!

Maybe your touchpad is setup to allow for tapping which acts just like the left mouse button. Try reducing the sensitivity in the mouse control panel.

the problem I have is that it's not listed in the control panel. it's a fresh install of windows, perhaps I didn't install one of the dell drivers?

Yeah you need to go to Dell and download the touchpad drivers.

thanks!

downloaded and installed. I disable the touchpad and the pointer mouse buttons, leaving the pointer and bottom row of buttons available.

works great now!
