Has anyone had success with clevo 4750

Thread Starter
I am thinking of buying a RJtech r4750 notebook. What has been the success with this notebook ? in 32 and 64 bit for linux? I will want to run Fedora 2 ( or 3 when it is out ). From what I have read it sounds like there are not any 64bit driver for the 9700 mobility ? Idea on when ? here is the link for this notebook below. Thanks.

I too am considering the purchase of this Laptop (same Place). I have read many issues with the Sager 4750 and Heat Problems because of a Tight Case (bad air Flow) and the Fan On/Off Timing ... BIOS related ... I think. These Heat Issues seem to cause Crashes/Lock-Ups. I certainly would like to see more imput/corrections on this.

If you update your firmware either from Sager "they'll email it to you," or you can download the iso they sent me off of my site. http://members.cox.net/menator

I had problems with my old 4750, but after they replaced it and I updated my firmware everything has been fine. No lockups or anything.
