small note, for a second i thought something was wrong with my computer today, when i boot up and logged in i got a blue screen and it crashed. luckily it was just a bad tweak that i made in the regestry, so i was able to fix that pronto. as for the temps, i have never used this laptop when it is sitting just on a desktop. it is always on my tagus coolpad. i prefer the coolpad because the angle makes it easier for me to type, and the abilty to move the laptop 360 degrees helps too. the only thing that bothers me about the laptop is the time it takes to boot up. it boots windows extremely fast, but the bios takes long. the bios shows the memory check and all that stuff, and then hangs for a bit until it loads the mouse. i think it says mouse initialized or something like that, but it takes a long time to initialize the mouse. i dont use that touchpad so i went into the bios to see if i can disable it, but it doesnt seem to have that as an option. hopefully a future bios update will fix this problem. its not even a big problem, it just takes like 15 seconds for the bios screen to pass. |
