Buy a computer off ebay?

Would you buy a computer off ebay if its specs will run what you want to run but at a cheaper price? Like if the seller is a trusted seller would u still buy a PC off ebay. Please explain reason why you would or wouldn't because now I'm on a budget but I wanna get the most out of my dollar without building a PC because I simply dont have time with school and work and sports.

I've sold $2000 desktops on ebay with satisfied buyers (demo models, usually) where I can't sell them new but they are just like new.

If you buy from a large seller, who has very recent good feedback, you'll probably be allright. Don't buy from someone with a bunch of feedback on low-dollar items who is suddenly selling computers.

These dealers should give you at least a 1 year warranty and have RMA options for you, too. They should have a phone number listed so you can reach them, too.

If you can use a credit card, do so.

i bought a $1050 amd comp off ebay just two weeks ago. I am satisfied so far, however, I am continuing to get blue screens now. Trying to troubleshoot, i believe it is the sp2 patch. We shall see later. Not a bad comp for the price.
amd64 3400+
nice motherboard dont know what kind
geforce fx5700
1 gb ddr 3200 ram
a one of those led cases,,,great cooling too..

It has sata raid on the mobo, which i liked, I have 2 160gb hd raid0...works well..

I suggest buying if the seller is reputable and the price isnt "too good to be true" just to make sure the account hasnt been hijacked.
