whats this i hear about getting a student discount when buying laptops? which companies apply? and how much are the discounts????

HP Compaq gives 6% discount on there site. search for APP at hpshopping.com and sign up

If you're a college student, there might be a program that your college is associated with, like Dell, and you can get a discount from it.
