OMG, please forgive me for being so ignorant about this. I am browsing Dells notebook accesories department and I came across this

A D/Monitor stand for the 8600/600. Just exactly what does this contraption do? Hold the notebook so you can use it as a desktop system? It says its designed for use with the D/Dock and D/Port. So there is 3 items that I need to buy if I want a docking station that will hold my notebook I also need a D/Dock and D/Port

I figured out the DPort, thats the actual port replicator, I cant figure out what the D/Dock is then,,,,and this monitor stand is hard to figure out exactly what it does by looking at the picture.
