The Bag Thread

I dont know if this has been started yet but i feel that since we all love our notebooks we should post what we use to protect are prescious jewels in. It doesnt have to just be a notebook bag.
Sleeves, messengers, garbage bags, nap sacks, metal bullet-proof hard case, cardboard box, large tupperware, well you get the point.

Good idea! I'm currently looking for a bag for my 3790. I prefer a minimalistic laptop bag or a sleeve that fit's into another bag.

Does anyone know any other computers that are the same size as the 3790? When I go to web sites that sell bags they never have the 3790 listed.

Thanks

Pretty much any 15.4 inch other than the Alienware. Try Dell 8600, 8500 or Compaq x1000 or HP ZT3000.

After blowing my comp. equipment budget on the 3790 spending $100+ for a bag was something I would rather avoid.

Went to the local stores (BB, OM, OD etc.) and ended up finding a decent US Luggage case at Office Depot. Fits the 3790 perfectly along with all the extra wires/papers/CD's/periphs that I carry around. Protects the laptop well and looks good. Seems very sturdy so far. Definitely on the large side but if that's your need this one does well. The beauty of this is that it only cost $20. OD had it for $40 and when it rang up there was a clearance 50% off, so stock is probably very limited.

I received my new 3790, yesterday, along with the new bag I bought for it -- a PowerSleeve 15, from Booq Bags. Check it out here: http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=19. I bought it from Macmall.com for $49.95. It's perfect for the 3790.

Does the PowerSleeve 15 fit with a 12 cell battery? Is the bag sturdy enough for everyday use or is really just a sleeve?

I just got my 9860 yesterday and the standard case it comes with is pretty cheap and doesn't even have any real pockets. Are there any backpacks that would fit it?
I just got a very nice targus backpack from Best buy. Its made to fit 17"ers like your 9860 I'd go for that if i were you.
