Perhaps they're making you wait longer because your custom 3790 with a parallel port requires an extra special 12 cell battery powered by kryptonite. Then again, I could be wrong.

Wow... i cant imagine what would have happened if this guy had tried ordering when the 8890 and 5680's came out... it took at LEAST a month for people to get thier orders because of the damand... this kid would have killed people by now...

at least hes getting it 2 weeks later...I ordered mine 8/24/04 thats like 3-4 weeks, cant count its late, but it took 4 months to save for it so...4 weeks aint nuthin' unl;ess of course I get dead pixels or something even worse.....ok back to my praying for no-dead-pixels.

You guys sure waste lotsa time and energy feeding what obviously is a troll.. I've read through forums here and I know it takes time for orders to go through.. Heck, it's like that with most everything..But.. you guys are the ones with all the free time to reply.. sometimes reading these threads is fun

Dnew, I really don't think you've made a reputation here. Which isn't necessarily your fault. See, I too once was a Sager noob. And a laptop noob. So I understand how you feel "captive" to Sager. However, it's really not their fault you're old and incapable of moving on like the rest of the world. And I see how you could be annoyed that your system took a whole two weeks (HOLY CRAP! TWO WEEKS?!?!!?). I have a suggestion that might help. Cancel your order and get a Dell. Then when you get it 3 months later, pick it up, and beat yourself over the head with it for having made such an ass out of yourself.

I don't get it. If he's not happy, then why doesn't he cancel the order and buy from another manufacture? When I had a 4750 and it had it's share of problems within the first week of receiving it, instead of complaining, I just got a rma and get a refund. Not that hard...

I can see where he is coming from, I had to wait like 3-4 weeks before my 3790 shipped and I wasn't happy either. However, if you can find a way to make do with what you have now and stick out the wait, the end result is worth it.

Yep.. I got mine painted.. order late august i think... it got delivered in december.. I didnt really have a cow or anything... understood things take time..

Shesh...if he thinks two weeks is bad he should go over to the Alienware boards where people throw down 4k for a laptop and are on day 58 of waiting for it to ship...
