USB 2.0 on Asus M6N

Everytime I plug in a USB 2.0 device such as an iPod or USB memory stick, I get a message saying that the device is USB 2.0 compatible, but the four USB ports on my Asus M6N notebook computer are not... I thought that the M6N was supposed to be USB 2.0 compatible?

How can I get the computer to recognize the USB ports as 2.0 and not 1.0?

Have you installed SP1?

Yes, I have installed SP1.

I looked for the driver on the CD but I really can't find anything.

I went into the Device Manager and saw that the USB drivers had some sort of error in them. I right-clicked them and said Update Driver and within a few minutes the error was gone. I no longer receive the message that my device is Hi-Speed but my computer is not, but the files don't transfer any faster than they did before.

I'm interested in this also. I have a slightly different issue though. I go back and forth between office and home. Each location has a 4 port USB 2.0 hub into which I plug mouse, printer, etc. At the office, I have to turn the printer off and on again for it to be recognized by the computer. Never had that issue with the previous computer.

Edit: We posted exactly the same time! I checked device manager and see no errors there.
