acer aspire 2025 vs acer travelmate 8006lmi

Is it worth the extra 400 dollars to get the acer travelmate 8006lmi instead of the acer aspire 2025lmi. the only difference between the two is that the travelmate has a better screen and has a 2.0 ghz pentium M instead of the 1.8ghz pentium M on the acer aspire. How much faster is that actually.

Higher resolution screen, but better screen can be debated.

Well I looked at both before settling on the 2025. Here's what I think on both.

8006Lmi:

Pros: higher res screen. long battery life, fast CPU, comes equipped with everything except the kitchen sink.

Cons: 4x3 aspect screen with some viewing angle limitations (not bad though). kinda Boring appearance.

2025WLmi

Pros: Widescreen great for watching DVDs. Long battery life, decent CPU, comes equipped with everything except the kitchen sink. Very sharp looking unit.

Cons: low res (1280x800).

Both unit is fairly big in size. the 2025 is a bit wider but less depth than the 8006. I went with the 2025 since I do travel for extended period at times (20+ days). it would be good to have use it to watch DVDs and the lower res actually mean bigger fonts so it is more comfortable on these old eyes.
