no all of nvidia's previous releases have been out performed by ati.

Yes, with the MXM module NVIDIA will take back most of the market share they lost to ATi. Also, with the GeForce6 Go series they have a overall better product than ATi's x800 series imo.

I think I'd have to say it's too early to tell. MXM is countered by Axiom, of course, and we really haven't seen too much hit the market yet as far as the next generation of mobile GPUs are concerned in order to draw any definitive conclusions.

Yeah, certainly too early to tell but I think there's a good chance that nVidia will start gaining some ground especially if they play the "upgradeable graphics" card right.
