Sims 2

Has anyone been able to play Sims 2 yet on the i9100. I wanna know if i'll be able to run it arite and on wat settings.

Of course it will run, probably med- high settings with a good framerate on the MR9700... easily on high with the MR9800. Haven't got the game yet myself but that is an educated guess.

Sims 2 does indeed run on the 9100 - loaded it up and ran through the available demos - left all the settings at default - ran very nice considering I have the 64MB 9600 video.

The actual Sims 2 Game doesn't come out until Spetember 17th (this coming friday), but I'm guessing it will definately work.

sims 2 is out (some stores put it early on sale), lots of people are already playing it, and websites like ebgames.com are already shipping it. (sep 17 is the uk release date - im grateful i never have to wait for uk release dates )



it runs laggy (1 long or short pause) when the sims iniated new actions (otherwise game ran very smooth)

(lots of reports on 9800 pro lagging - upgrade to 4.9 seemed to fix for most)

an upgrade to the cat 4.9 drivers fixes this if you have this problem.
