3790 nushield comparison shots

Without NuShield:, I recommend rubber gloves like theseBut felt gloves or dishwashing gloves as long as they are clean will be better than bare hands. Now with my slightly used but good condition NuShield installed:

I didn't use flash on purpose. One light source, indirect, is coming from the left side. Here is a shot from the left angle before and after:

I also noticed the light bend off the nushield. It was out slightly towards the top of the LCD.

That brings me to an important point , my nushield seemed to have been "cut" too close to the dimensions of the visible LCD area for the 3790. One corner was even cropped in just a bit. I did appreciate NuShield cropping the corner since it made it easier to install. But they could have made the protector about 3mm longer per side. Every once and a while, I have to "shift" the screen so that no edges are showing. Could be that these products are cut to order and done so by hand. Don't know...

Let me tell you, I am very pleased with it. I use my notebook at night mostly so I don't worry about glare problems. It looks great. Others have posted pics on how the wsxga screens look with the pc on and NUShield installed. (search the forum)

I highly recommend them to anyone who moves the notebook around often or stacks it with books, folders, in backpacks, with carry-on luggage, etc... You just don't want to see those dreaded keyboard marks on that beautiful wsxga screen - IMHO.
As always, hope this helps someone out there.
ps.. The images should be available for at least a year if not longer depending on how often they get viewed. Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting.

I just got my Nushield in two days ago. I would take pics but they took my digital camera and camcorder when my apartment was robbed a month ago. I accidentally 'scratched' or 'bent' the screen about two inches from the top left corner. When the light shines on it, there's a "dimple" in the screen. It's annoying because I'm the one that screwed it up and I'm probably the only one that will notice it but oh well. I like this reflective look that it adds to the screen.
