1ST OF ALL I WOULD JUST LIKE TO CONGRATS ALL AW USERS...AND TO SAY I COME IN PEACE.

the dell section doesnt have a Phase catagory, so i just wanted to post this here...i ordered a computer from dell on 13th of sept. , it was est. 4 week for delivery.... and it was shipped on 15th of sept ... i just wanted to share that as it was a complete surprise to me, and im not in anyway try to compare it with AW but that was just freaky!!

Just like Alienware, Dell has lucky people and unlucky people. I got my Alienware within 2 weeks of them receiving payment, while my friend who ironically ordered a Dell on the exact same day received his Dell desktop a month after payment. I recieved a completely customized PC in half of the time it took to get a generic Dell. The time for shipment varies immensly through every company. Congrats on the 2 days though and enjoy your awesome new notebook!

Thank you both...i will, and i know that this was like really lucky because this is my 2nd dell the 1st one took about 19 days...i had an alienware that took...24 days...+ the dell laptop are customized arent they?? i mean you choose just about anything thats in the laptop (CPU GPU HD RAM IDEs) + u can change the top cover aswell...i just didnt like the options.

Dell has alarmingly quick shipment, but it seems that what you ordered is a popular config. and they already had one made.

thanx ..me too!....i dont think it would refurbished, at least i hope its not, it would be recognizable, even the tiniest bit... which wont be good for Dells' reputation, which is worth way more than $4200...

Yeah I wish I could call AW about something also. My friend just ordered the exact same configuration Aurora as I did, only difference is the color. And his ship date is 27 Sept. They said 9 days. Mine had no "supposed" delays but it took a month + 1 day to ship. Well.... phase 13 as of this morning so it should ship today.

no. there are laws against selling "referbished" or "returned" items without correctly and specifically advertising the item as used...plus, why would dell do that? they're not trying to screw people over the way people around here believe.
