The card is running EQ2 with all option pumped to the MAX at 1920x1200 with minimal slow downs... once I get the new processor in here, I bet that will go away...

Just went into the Nvidia control panel, to the resolutions area (not windows diaplay settings... actual Nvidia Cpanel) and just set it to 1920x1200...

Windows wouldn't let me do it until I did that...

Ok, it is official... I can say now.... This screen is 100% there ARE NO DEAD PIXELS!!! If there are, I sure as hell couldn't find them, and I have been sitting here for the past 10 minutes with a magnifying glass and using black, white, red, blue, green screens to test....

Excellent on the no dead pixels issue!

I hope my 3200+ processor doesn't cause any performance problems. I'd probably return my HP if I hafta upgrade the processor in order to avoid any difficulties.

This is for you Syn:

That's the new HP, next to my Sony 17" LCD, and I put my Logitech Di'Novo up there as a way for you to determine the SIZE of the monitor...

EQ2, hands down...

EQ2 puts the Star Wars Galaxies graphics to shame... And I always thought SWG had some of the best graphics to date...

kewl...you start a thread and tell in depth why you like one over the other.. It sounds like alot of the problems that plagued the first game has been addressed in the second one.. Man I can't wait to play it

Totally off-topic... Who's that sultry vixen in your avatar. If it's you, will you marry me?

That's Selma Hayek in her Avatar...
Nobody knows what Syn really looks like... But there are about half the guys on here, that would take her in a heart beat! (a chick that digs computers!!)

Ok, going to work for awhile now.... I'll run Doom 3 when I get home...
The review probably won't be till WAY late tonight since I have to back up, format, reinstall everything...

Already married. Met my husband in Ultima online.. He saw a chick that loved electronics, computers..could build PC's as good as he could and loved to play games..and frankly i think he thought I was the only woman that would put up with his addictions since they were my own as well Needless to say 5 fives of a very happy marriage...He left Sweden to marry me..asked me the 3rd day he was here on his one week trip over to meet me :P

AL, no its Monica Belluci from Matrix, Brotherhood of the Wolf, etc..

Syn doesn't look bad herself, if I do say so myself :P

This HP LCD and DVI Connections

Can any of you that have this killer HP say what its maximum resolution is using the DVI connector? I know that this is often limited by the video card, but a lot of these highend LCD monitors have their own limits to what the maximum resolution is under its various interfaces. (VGA, DVI-I, DVI-D)

Thanks!

Getting more pissed by the minute....

So far:
7 Installs of Windows XP Pro.. (this time it seems to be working, but still freezes when ever something is being installed or during any form of windows update... any help on that would be nice...)

Sound Blaster Audigy.... No matter what I do, card is not being recognized by Windows.... I give up....

Mainly, I can't get the system to stop hanging... I've tried everything... I've deleted and rebuilt the RAID Array, low level formats of the HDDs... Everything... but having NO luck....
I about give up...
