Any news on the battery type? Guessing 1 hr of battery life on this beast. Although, would be happy to be wrong.

Well it won't be released for at least 4 months if its first quarter 2005. Nice specs though I hope there will be an equivelent amd version. adam I did just create a thread yesterday for this. errrr. killed my thread too.

Holy crap, you have 4000+ posts. Do you have a robot or something that posts all day every day for you? I feel like I post a lot, but you take the cake.

I have a direct link from my brain into the forum. I'm able to post by thought almost.

Adam says release is slanted for early Q4.

So is this the same as the Eurocom Phantom D900 that's been advertised for a while?
Yep so it seems. Although phantom sounds catchier.
Do we have any dimensions for this system?

My real question is how thick is it going to be...
This will probably be pricey but look at it this way, you could cut down on your heating bills cause this thing is going to HOT!

It will be no more then the rest of the Sager laptops (most start around 1500) everybody said the 5680 would be real expensive when it came out... and it wasnt
post #15 of 1072
Interesting, but why a 915 chipset and not a 925X, also no UXGA?

Looks great! Wish it came in AMD64, but considering there are no PCIE AMD boards yet...
UXGA.. hmm i dont think they have a 17in ver of that... but i maybe wrong.. thought the 56XX only had that option. ANd everyone wants a nice A64 system... why hasnt sager made one.. to hell with intel
post #17 of 1072
YES YES YES YES!!!
And it starts at 3.0 and ddr 400 this will make it a little more afordable...i'll downsize the processor and ram but spank me with the video card heh..

By the way..when is the beginning of Q4 isn't that October?

Same reason there are no 875 based notebooks.
mid/late october or november... but of course it can be pushed back... they said the 5680 would come out late july... it didnt come out till almost september

That is a very sexy lookin laptop, big and sexy. The only question I have is why doesn't it say professional or Home on the windows xp boot screen?
