Hello all, first post here!
I just recently purchased an Acer Asprie 1681 WLMi from Newegg.com and except for the battery I am very happy with it. I believe it is only a 4 cell battery and it lasts for around 2 hours if things are going well. Not a big deal if it was a 3.2GHz P4, but this is a Pentium M 715 "Centrino" laptop and I really want better battery life. I assumed that finding another battery would be no big deal and that because buying another battery was budgeted into the total cost, I was ok with that. Well, cant find a battery as of yet, but saw another Acer lappy that looks exactly the same (exact same casing..same battery?). That is the Acer TM 4001WLCi and it has a 5 hour battery with basically same Centrino setup. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
