Catalyst 4.9 release from Dell

Hey guys I think if I am not mistaken that the Dell release of the catalyst drivers are out. So umm...sorry if this is a double post. Just thought I would let you know. I read there are some massive improvements in Far Cry. I read some benchies from a guy with an AIW 9700 Pro...Nice

I can see the same 4.8 on dell.com:
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700, v.8.04-040717a-017292C, A03
Release Date: 08/17/2004

Where have you found the 4.9?

i thought the only 4.9s were the ones ATi release, not those specific for use in our notebooks

I'm checking Omega's site for 4.9 every day - it should be ready very soon now. Dell, as usual, will skip several versions of catalyst - so, do not expect new video drivers from Dell in several next month

I must apologize. Today is the 16th of Sept. I fogot that Sept is the 9th month of the year...when I saw the date 8/16 I assumed in all idiocy that it is the new drivers. I humbly apologize.
