Which laptops do you all think have the most style points? Post your #1 pick, and maybe some pics too

haha no arguments here. I'm a big fan of apple laptops. Still, that Sony X505 is lookin mighty fine these days. If it had a dvd/cdrw combo drive and an M11 (hey I can dream right? ) I'd be all over that thing.... like something that gets all over something else. I'm gonna say peanutbutter on your motherboard.

For style, you can't do better than the latest Powerbooks. As for PC notebooks, I think the Asus W1N is the coolest, but you can't get one with a Dothan. It's also a bit heavy... about the same weight as the Inspiron 8600. The new Gateway 4250 series is very sleek, but has a poor screen.

The arima is nice but it hasn't been released yet....has it?

Then the Savrow Razor...

Sager 9860. Now THAT is a sexy laptop, IMO, and I love a nice big DTR.

It's out in Europe/Asia. Currently it's available in Europe from Savrow as the "Razor".

It should start appearing here in The States in the next few months as in conversations I had with a newly arrived to California employee of Arima I learned that he is responsible for building their channel distribution here in the U.S.

I don't know what it is about the asus M6 but it is calling my name. Professionalism and style in perfect harmony.

Yah, the M6N is a great system. Nice build quality, good looks, nice flexibility in aspect ratio, BNe vs. Ne, etc., etc.

The thing about the powerbook I can't get over is that I actually opened a laptop with one hand without trying to hold down the base to do so.

Funny, in China the Arima is considered a budget notebook because it's a clone market notebook and not a name brand. It was so abundant and so cheap...makes me think I should have gotten one when I had the chance.
