Specs in my sig:
5409 - stock out of the box + XP SP2
5419 - Same as above, with Corsair RAM (Surprised how little that helped).
6445 - Same as above but with Omega Divers, shut down some services.
6467 - This time I uninstalled a lot of the included Dell apps but did not reboot.
6485 - After the reboot.
6570 - I formatted the machine and did a clean XP SP2 install. Put drives for every device and the same Omega drivers as before.
No overclocking or cooling mods... just sitting on my desktop.
Some misc notes:
Size/weight of this don't bother me in the least. I have an i8200 and it's almost the exact same size/weight.
The XPS is quite a bit sturdier than the i8200 or my old Sager was - build quality seems surprisingly solid.
My biggest apprehension about this was the WUXGA screen. I had a UXGA on the 8200 and liked it; the WUXGA I find to be better, not worse in terms of readability.
