CL56 = Chevy

or

CL56 = Republic P47
IBM = Focke-Wulf 190

[ok... the last one's kinda iffy ]
I need to correct your post
its more like

CL56>chevy corvette
IBM>Aston Martin with the V12 ripped out and replaced with a 4 banger

Does IBM's sale of their PC business affect their notebook business?

I can't believe how perfect that analogy is! That is TOO funny!

I type by touch but I never learned hte home row. I find where my hands are much better for speed and accuracy than homerow stuff.I mean sure it might save a little movement to be in homerow but I'd rather do it logically with relaiton to the dsitance between keys etc. Now I get in trouble with non standard keyboards wher ethe keys are a lot smaller or bigger
Home row's where it's at yo. Its fundamentally correct and designed to be efficient. But if something's working for ya, all you.

Cheers

My hands are near the home row but they dynamically rest wherever they want and they type keys that makes sense in cobination. most of the right side is done by one and the left side is done by the other. It's more efficient to stay near the euio and a keys than home row

Actually, QWERTY was designed to slow down typists because of frequent typewriter jams.

How would you say a T42 fares against a D600?
post #30 of 30
If the D600 is anything like the D800, then judging by my last IBM laptop, I'd say that the IBM has better LCD hinges and is overall more solid. BUT, the D800 is by no means a flimsy laptop (and, therefore, the D600 if it is similar).
