Just got my first laptop - a Rock Pegasus TI 2.0.
To condition the battery you are asked to fully charge and then discharge fully using a BIOS screen.
Did that. Got 1hr 17min battery life repeatably with screen at default brightness.
Tech support thinks I should get nearly 2 hours, so they shipped me a replacement battery.
New battery gives 1hr 18mins.
Not sure if this is par for the course (disappointing if yes), a second duff battery, or a problem with the laptop itself.
Has anyone else got this system ? If so, could you please let me know what battery life you get from the BIOS test to help make progress with diagnosis.
Also grateful for any advice on how the results of this test map onto normal use of the system - eg for word processing on the move.
