Official Firmware Update - Toshiba SD-R6012 DVD-R/RW Optical Drive

Toshiba has released an official firmware update for the SD-R6012 mobile DVD-R/RW optical drive that is used in many Sager notebook computers. There are 2 updates on this page so you need to check if your drive has a firmware revision of 103x or 173x series to obtain the correct file.

I installed the update for both of my DVD-R drives and it worked just fine. My drives were originally 1033 and are now the new 1034.
