I just broke my headphones last night, They were a philips Behind-the-Neck open type. About $20 and pretty good sound. Anyway, I have been looking at new headphones all night. The ones listed in the Subject are currently leading the list, read on for reasons.
Here is the link:
MDR-G72LP (no my hair doesn't look like this guy)
I have heard great things about Koss or Sony in-ear ones, but I don't really like the in-ear feel. (Are these more comfortable than previous versions though?)
Another pair I am debating is the Sennhieser PX200 , but they are over head, and maybe not the best for active stuff. I use my headphones for music at my Sager, but also for active stuff with my Iriver MP3/CD player, and I listen to music while I sleep on planes (so over the head aren't great for that.)
I need something durable and portable, for travel, but good sound and comfortable. I particularly like behind the Neck ones for comfort and more active stuff. Does anyone know of any Behind-the-neck ones with a closed can? Any other advice would be great. I am willing to spend under $100 for the right pair. Thanks. Also where does one go to try out headphones? Are their any stores for this?
