This is very interesting...were you successful in installing it? I don't think I've heard of anyone successfully installing MCE on any computer other than the one with which it came.

Actually I have not put it on...I am almost ready to do a reinstall so I might give it a go...just wondered if anyone had tried it before.

When I first got my 8890 the first OS I installed was Media Edition. However it doesn't recognize the TV Card, and the DVD's played better with Power DVD anyway, so when I did a reformat to add a 2nd drive for a raid array, I went to regular Win XP Pro.
