hehehe Poor Skim. I got mine yesterday. Installed OS and everything on it. At stock it only scores 7XXX on 3DMark01SE... I was a bit disappointed. But to make it up. It ran Far Cry on Medium everything setting SMOOTH.

I'm not having problem installing the latest Omega Driver... the one based off the Catalyst 4.8. It instals fine, but I can't get past the reboot test. All I get is a black screen. I waited for over 10 minutes... even though the instruction said it should be under 1 minute. I rebooted like the instruction says... it does resume... but then stalls again... It doesn't seem like I can instal it... so sad... Now I'm reverting back to the old Omega Driver that was based off the Catalyst 4.5 as I know that one is stable. Any help folks?

Also... Please excuse my laziness... but can someone be super kind enough to tell me all the updates they know that can boost the power of my NP3790. I know they are scattered around MANY different threads... usually falls into page 5-7... but that's WAY too many posts to check... So can someone please make a post or a thread that consists of all the LATEST and GREATEST updates or tweaks/softwares that can help enhance the power of the NP3790? from sound to video, to little nifty programs like MobilMeter. Please can someone with enough knowledge consists such a list for us newbies to the "mobile" world? MANY thanks.

Just be happy you're not ordering Alienware. Your wait could have been 2 to 3 times longer.
