The 8887 now comes with the 15.7" LCD only.

|Actually, I just received a new 8887 machine about a week ago, and the 16.1" UXGA display on it was much better than the previous displays I received on one back in February and May. The biggest key was that the color and contrast were very rich and accurate all at default settings (with accurate brightness). There was no need to mess with the ATI Color tab in the ATI display properties (Desktop Brightness). In fact, you should never have to touch that with an LCD panel and is a frustrating, temporary "work-around" in my opinion.|
