I am looking to either sell my laptop of trade it away for a widescreen first off let me say my case was in my backpack at college and i tripped going to class one day it landed shell side up but did take a little bit of cosmetic damage. It has a small dent in the left corner shell only the part of the shell that the aw head is not the whole corner. Also it has a crack all the way on the left above the left speaker. All hardware is 100% fine. The batery latch though is also broke but it runs off the battery just fine. with that beeing said here are it's specs.

I wanted to get a 15widescreen/1gig of ram(flexable) and ati 9700 but aw cant meet my demands and im tired of playing on the phone with them.

I am either looking for the best cash offer or either an aw with 15widescreen atleast a ati 9700 and 512/1 gig of ram I can include some cash if need be depending on the hardware etc. As long as it has what i want and i can upgrade it myself without dealing with AW i will condiser a trade. if not i'll accept cash offers so i can get a dell or sager. So let me know I really dont want to have to deal with trying to sell this on ebay. thanks.

hardware is 100% has minute case damage nothing one would worry about unless you're a cosmetic freak. I can also get pictures the stuff truly is hardly noticable and not that bad at all. again the battery latch is broken but the ion battery only slides out if you turn it sideways. it does have the 16.1 screen with no dead pixels at all or scratches.

I'm located in biloxi mississippi. I am not giving this laptop away either taking somewhat reasonable offers and will see.

nothing is going on they wanted an outrageous amount for a case i was quoted 201$ for two hours of labor and shipping then they told me the case could be 366$+ the person I talked to said 366 or more they couldnt even give me a definite quote. I'm not depoting it and paying $500+ just to get a little dent and crack fixed and battery latch. Basically that is one reason i'm fed up with them. I also want to get the new sager model when it comes out with pci-e etc.. Another thing that AW has annoyed me with is the fact that they have the 9700 as an option on the page and they told me it was not available. It's the same games on the phone with them etc... I'm frankly just done with them and there comps. I was also a second time returning customer and don't feel like I was treated so. Anyways i'm in school now basically they were good about a year ago when it came to laptops but now i'm not impressed. Sager all the way, period. AW quoted me 10% on my hardware that they would keep if I upgraded... I laughed and of course I can't get 15 widescreen because of the 16inch and they wont let you downgrade that after 30 days anyways they told me on the phone. Barnone I've decided on the new sager model coming out soon and i'm upgrading 10%? hah i'll sell it myself before I give them anymore of my business. plus the 256mb video card and 17widescreen is sounding pretty sweet.

tim correct it is 2x speed the original dvd-rw/cd-rw burner they first offered when the new a51s came out. XP home. No alienadrenaline never overclocked the graphics. Only usb mouse I could throw in is an old microsoft usb trackball it's not tooo smooth but decent for navigation but not for FPS games. as far as the network card goes no i'm not im keeping my wireless kit for when i get my new laptop. I could throw in the aluminum briefcase but only one lock works on it(the briefcase was $100usd alone)..... one of the locks are broke on it plus it has scratches from usage and wear a tear lugging around. I can take pictures of the mouse and case if you want to see it. Also I have not one but two aw batteries to go with it. One of the batteries is also brandnew like a week old, I ordered it like a week previous to calling them and getting pissed with there "price quotes" lol. I also will give whoever buys my laptop my login to the forum, newest drivers access and my alienware credit card with account info if that's of any help.

1700usd$? any takers I just vacummed out the grills etc aned the video card fans path etc. let jk3 run at max reso for over more than 5 hours straight in a non cooled room. like butter.... hardware tip top no dead pixels..... hello?? two batteries....


Oh yeah and even for slightly hitting the concrete it took it like a champ on the shell and case overall and hardware. I will give alienware that
