I'm looking for a thin and light notebook for email, web, powerpoint and word. I don't game or watch movies on my laptop. I have a Dell 5150 but I found out on a business trip that 8lbs. is too heavy.
These too are almost equal in specs. I can get either loaded equally the way I want for right at $2000 with 1.7 Dothan, 60gb/7200rpm, etc...
The Fujitsu is lighter by 1.2 to 0.6 lbs depending on what's in the modular bay of the Fujitsu. The Toshiba has dedicated graphics from Nvidia. But I don't know if I'd even notice the better graphics since I'm not gaming.
Does anyone have any input on differentiating these two. At this point it could be something as minor as fan noise that pushes me one way or the other. Any known glitches, problems, concerns? Either display generally better than the other?
Any help greatly appreciated!
