FedEx!

My obsession with tracking the Sentia all the way from AW HQ to my house is starting to get to me. This morning, FedEx's tracking service said that the package was finally on its way to my doorstep. You can imagine how excited I was. And seeing as I wouldn't be at home to accept the package, I asked my mum to take a day off from work to sign for it. She agreed.

One hour later, whilst checking my package's status from college, hoping to see that it had been successfully delivered, I saw that the package hadn't been delivered at all. You can imagine my displeasure.

As it turns out, after calling my maternal unit, FedEx never actually showed up. Didn't leave a sticker - didn't leave zilch, nada, rien.

So I called them lazy bitches up. After apologizing for their 'error', they said they'd call back with a possible fix.

As of now, I'm still waiting for their call.

After waiting for over a month: no more delays, please!

First things first, politely complain to AW, then if they don't get something done within a day, rant and rave and go up the chain as much as possible on their customer support.

Similarly, go after Fedex's customer support as well. Sometimes, these companies only understand non-stop calls from a customer. It's like fuel for them to make them move.

As an option, tell them to ship it to the closest Fedex depot and pick it up from there. If they can't even do that, demand to know where the laptop is immediately. Tell them you'll wait on the line as they track it.

I've configured everything and it works like a charm.

Although this is the first laptop I've ever owned and can't really compare, I'm impressed. Surely enough, it won't replace the desktop computer, but it's still a powerful piece of technology. I bought the Sentia to serve my student needs, and I'm quite sure it'll live up to those expectations.

I'll get around to posting some good quality pictures eventually.
