4750 Wireless Chipset

Can anyone give me any info on the wireless chipset used in the 4750. I've already checked ds and pctorque to try and find details on who the chipset is licensed from. I'm trying to get the wireless to work under linux.

try Sager, they should be able to tell you.

Yeah I've sent an email to them, I was wondering if anyone knew because the response from Sager will probably be tomorrow sometime.

device manager says "Gigabyte GN-WIAG Wireless Network miniPCI Adapter" if that helps.

Mines says "Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Internet Connection"

Same as Ogres. Cryptiknight's might be a different reseller.

Aye didnt purchase mine through PCtorque. Although now I wish I did.
