nope.... the sentia has USB2 ports anyways, which bottleneck higher than standard ATA100 (100mbps).... If I remember right it bottlenecks around 400mbps (don't quote me on that).

As for video editing.... i'm not exactly sure.... I could run UT2k4 fairly well, and Photoshop 7 worked flawlessly... I don't have any experiance with streaming video though, so I can't really say much for that department. However, the Sentia is really nice in how thin, light, and quiet it is.... and the Centrino archetecture runs nicely...

Don't expect to be playing Doom3 on it... but everything else runs pretty well.... at least with my month of experiance with one.
