Alienware has forums...use them - Page 2

Also, i was told in a email from AW, that after my warranty expires,, I purchased 1 year only i won't have access to the community forums and such... i will only have access to the knowledge base and the drivers section....

so their forums really do suck,, sorry to say,,
I'd rather have a open forum like notebook-forums to have access to other ppls ideas and opinions to help fix and resolve problems without having to worry about being locked out cause my time expired,,, i mean what is a community forum if you can't access it to get help. "when needed"
and i have used AW's forum and i do find them slow in the area of responses.

Thank you notetbook forums for such a good site to let us come to chat and help others,,

side note: when I do have a problem with my 51m,, guess where I go first for help... right here at notebook forums!!!!

"...I hope to become a stranger around these parts"

just don't be any stranger than normal, oregonware.

footpedal, are you sure about the forum being off limits after the warranty is done? There is so much information in those forums its unreal. Im not writing that to make people leave. Hell, I love this forum too.

Currently there is nothing on denying access to out-of-warranty customers into the Alienware Forums.

You can ask those who are out-of-warranty and frequent the Alienware Forums.

i dont think that guys really from Alienware....
ohh yeah and a lot of people ask questions before they buy the AW computer so they can get the best computer for the best price, as I did, you cant do that on the Alienware website.... u have to buy first and then wait for your computer to come before u can get into those fourms.... I must say this place is great. i got the best computer for me at a good price and i didnt have to buy anything from here...
We also like to see pixs from other people, reviews, etc...

Who? Juan? Um, yeah he is...imposters are generlly discovered by the mods shortly after they register.

I'd say both furums have their purpose....AW Customer Support Forums are for asking for Customer Service, not so much "hanging out" like this forum. The AW forums are more heavily moderated so that they can weed out all the useless BS...that's what this forum is for.

no no not juan, i kno hes from aw the guy who started this thread..

You have to own a Alienware to talk on the forums??? What is up with that? I am looking to buy one... WHATEVER...

as some guy said above

ALIENWARE FORUMS = OWNED!
I just dont like the fact that it's heavily moderated and it takes weeks before they post your problem on the technical forums. SOmetimes they don't even post my message at all...
