America's Army doesn't work on Mandrake 10?

I installed America's Army on Mandrake 10 today and it didn't work. Ok, so the splash screen comes on, then a window blinks and the game just turns off in a second. What can help me? I have the stock ATI Radeon support that comes with the distro installed (just support...no driver....) and I really want to move some of my gaming to Linux....can't be a slave of M$ forever.

abf, you have to snoop around in some logs first. /var/log/messages? The XFree log?

what program do you use to view the logs?

Any text editor will do. For the console, vim is king, IMO.

And if you're not feeling particularly brave, 'less' will do fine also.
