Fujitsu N5010, please read and help.

Hi, this is my first post... I read all the posts for the N5010 in this forum for a long time now. I got my N5010 two months ago after seeing such good reviews.

After a month of use I encountered PROBLEMS with the machine. It was the backlight that illuminates the monitor. It doesn't turn on whenever the laptop is off or in stand by for a long period of time. The computer runs but the thing is that the screen is pitch black.

I've called Fujitsu so many times. They said it was the stand by mode and they run me through the Control Panel and all the tech stuff... but after many other calls they concluded that it could be a hardware problem, which is what I've thought of all along. I sent it back to Fujitsu (I paid for the shipping)... and after 2 WEEKS! (when they said max time is 5 days) they send it back to me (got it yesterday) and I still have this problem. Did they even check it? What's the deal!

I am very frustrated and dissapointed at this point. I'm going to call back later today to yell and scream. Spent a fortune in this machine to use it for college for graphics, research and thesis. Paying Cable modem that I haven't used in 3 weeks.

Had anyone had similar problem with the N5010? What can I do at this point? Most likely they'll ask me to send it back and I'll have to wait another 2 weeks?

My cousin had the exact same problem with his N series laptop. The system would turn on but the screen was pitch black. He had to send it into Fujitsu to fix. I'd ask him if Fujitsu told him the specific problem but he's in Iraq right now (he's a marine). Good luck.
