Uninstalling, or a great power management program

Hi,

While fiddling with things on my new M6 I decided to delete Power4Gear and reinstall it. Unfortunately, I obviously haven't uninstalled it properly because when I try to reinstall I get a message about my computer containing a previous version, please uninstall first.

However, I've tried Windows Uninstall, Systemworks Uninstall and Advance Uninstaller and I still can't get rid of whatever remnant is left.

I've even placed the install files in a folder and searched for each one in it my Hd to make sure there are no duplicates.

Any thoughts how to fix this or what files to manually search and destroy?

Thanks

Steve

I would try to clean out the registry. The best place to look for the folders left behind from previous install is:
C:/program files

and also C:/documents and settings/administrator/application data

for the second one you'll have to go to folder options and select "show hidden files and folders."

Hope this helps
